Alchemist specifications

Hey, went looking for the power draw of the alchemist recently.

If this AI summary of the fab notes from Github are correct, this is what it does :
Yes — the notes explicitly say: **“New boards, DC power 9V 190mA”
There’s also a note saying “change to centre pos dc”, which indicates the DC input was intended to be centre-positive.

Can someone confirm this? And maybe add it to the product page for other poor souls like me?..

One thing worth flagging: an AI summary of fab notes is a secondary source, so I would treat the 190 mA figure as a ceiling to verify rather than a spec. If you have a bench supply with a current readout, feed the Alchemist 9V and watch the draw at idle, then with a heavy patch loaded and the outputs actually driving something. DSP load and output stage make a real difference, and the peak matters more than idle if you are sizing a daisy chain. For polarity, the safest check is a multimeter on the barrel of a known-good supply before you plug anything in; centre-positive is unusual enough that a mislabelled adapter can kill a board silently. If your measurements line up with the notes, posting the actual numbers here would help the next person far more than the summary does, and it gives Rebel something concrete to put on the product page.
