Hi,
Thanks for your reply! It has taken me some time to get back to this and figure out how to go through the steps.
I believe I have successfully flashed the MIDI bootloader. However, I suspect for some reasons I am not managing to actually install the latest firmware. When I go through the process, it says “complete” but then I get error messages when using the patch library. Here are the messages I get:
- Firmware version: OWL Pedal Boot v22.2.0
- Program Message: Bootloader OK [x4]
- Reading file OwlPedal.syx
- Sending data 311119 bytes
- Program Message: Firmware upload in progress [x5]

- Program Message: Invalid STORE command
Also, if I disconnect it and reconnect it, I get the message repeated:
- Program Message: Invalid SysEx
Any clue if something is going wrong for the firmware installation, or something else? I followed the instructions on the OpenWareLaboratory page, although for “Device Reset” I just clicked on the button (am I supposed to do something physically on the pedal?).
Thanks!
