I am compiling a PD patch containing a simple table-tabwrite~ - tabread4~thing to delay, loop, glitch with.
The compiler here gives me “successful”, though reporting warnings…
However, when i load sysex via OwlControl
- the Owl (pedal version, firmware v11) goes red, then reports much more than 100% CPU, varying.

Most prominently it reads “Heavy assertion failed in __hvtabread_if line 70”. Resulting patch hangs on a short cycle (maybe even one block) and doesn’t play. EDIT: Error was not to specify a size for the table as an argument. MUST be done.

Descriptive names for faders/controls don’t show in OwlControl.
What could i possible have done wrong?
Patch is already here, though private, until finished/working.
