Digital Audio Processing for beginners

Does anyone have any suggestion for a good book on Digital Audio processing for beginners. There are a bunch available on Amazon so any suggestions would be appreciated.

J. O. Smith’s https://ccrma.stanford.edu/~jos/ may be a good place to start, or perhaps Elements of Computer Music by Moore (aimed at musicians) and Hamming’s Digital filters.

Not a book, but check out this Coursera DSP course from the École Polytechnique de Lausanne:

Not sure when they’re running the next one, but if you get a chance to take it I can warmly recommend it!
Also the textbook is available as a free PDF download.

I like this as a good, straight-ahead book for those starting out…

Here’s my recommendation:
Introduction To Digital Signal Processing: Computer Musically Speaking

I think is a very good book and the best of all is that is focused on audio applications.
