Anybody can do or sugest to me how can port a little gig for guitar, I don’t like so much mda combo, there isn’t so much source of good simulations, in my opinion. I like “high gains” for example in guitar rig 5 NI I like ibanez screamer overdrive with white amp (Gilmour simulation of his hiwatt)
May be we can work together.

I think that noise gate is easy, and overdrive I think that is enought with the code that there is, may be the same code of the patch included, I teste and it could be enought, the main could be amp, the cabinet could be an eq. I have to study, but we can start from some source that somebody was did before, there is guitarix, I can tested because I didn’t configurate jack in my osx.

I think it is a great idea to port some of guitarix code for the owl!
Just to let you know, we are starting a great collaboration with the FAUST project (www.faust.grame.fr). There is now an Owl target within Faust. It means you can create an Owl Patch directly from Faust code.
And the good news is : Guitarix modules are in the Faust database !
