Hardware: Analogue mix fader?

I would like to put an analogue mix fader into my OWL pedal, even at the risk of the FX being delayed.

For one I like my clean instrument’s sound so much, that I’d like to avoid running it through another AD/DA conversion. Secondly I’d free up one more built-in fader to control something else in the patch.

Has anyone ever attempted this and could supply detailed instructions on how to do this? I think I can handle the analogue side of this, however, what other eventualities might one run into?

Thanx for any insight.

So you want a stereo crossfade from dry to wet? That should be relatively easy to do with a dual gang potentiometer, and preferably a couple of op amps too to buffer the output. The wiper/s would typically go to ground.
There’s a discussion here which might be useful. Or confusing. https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1295453

Okay, dual poti and opamps, that’s what i thought. Maybe my question was a bit useless.

Not useless at all. If you’re modding the pedal you will probably want a single supply solution: +5v to gnd, biased to 2.5v.
If you post a draft design I’d be happy to give it a once over.
