How to recompile c++ to gen

if i want to modify a patch made in max, is it possible to import the cpp code into gen? how can i do this?

I’m fairly sure that you can’t convert C++ back to gen~, it doesn’t support anything like that. You’d have to modify original gendsp file.

Is the original patch in gen?

There’s the gen codebox, which allows you to insert pseudo-C into a gen patch, but I think it will only work well for small bits of algorithms. And the codebox, afaik, can’t call any code ‘out of the box’.
