Latency - general question

If I use an Owl on an FX Send/Receive loop, what latency, relative to the live audio, can I expect?

More importantly, what classes of effects would not be affected by this latency and what would? E.g. I would expect that delay, echo, reverb would be fine (assuming that the latency is a small number of ms) but what about chorus where part of the effect can occur before the originating audio? Are there any other effects that would be delayed too much to be useful?

Kind regards,

Ac

There’s a thread about latency here:

Basically it depends on sample rate and block size. Block size can be set from 2 to 1024 samples in Owl Control giving latency of from about 1ms up to about 43ms.
