LED push button behavior

The LED push button seems to exhibit some unexpected behavior-- to me at least. The LED state (and patch) will switch on “DOWN” but if the button is held for too long it switches back on “UP”. Is this intentional?

(using the downloadable .bin firmware)

I think this is addressed in the new firmware (now in testing!).
I think we’d like to change the behaviour of the pushbutton somewhat, so that if you press it when in bypass it will light up to show that you have changed patch (as it currently does) but turn off by itself after a couple of seconds.

Ok I’ll wait for the next release.

How I think it should work:
-Bypass mode
switch patch on button DOWN. Turn off after x seconds after button UP.
-Normal mode
switch patch on button DOWN.

AFAIK, there’s no need for on button HOLD (DOWN for x seconds) event.

Also, I just discovered that when connected via USB, if I hammer the button it eventually freezes on green and the bypass switch has no effect. This does not happen when powered via plug.
