Hey, im new to the forum here but need some help, so had to be done. I got an OWL a few months back and was very busy at the time. While trying to setup, I experienced a lot of difficultly trying to undergo all the steps involved in order to upload a new patch on the pedal. In the midst of all this the pedal “Bricked” but I was simply too busy at the time and needed to focus my attention elsewhere… Now I understand there is a fix for this but Im having the usual trouble getting that to work too. Any chance anyone can help me out. Cheers.
If you’ve lost the bootloader then yes, the pedal would appear ‘bricked’. But don’t worry, it can easily be unbricked!
You probably have a Rev05 version of the hardware, which makes this a bit easier.
The instructions are here:

However the crucial photo seems to be missing at the moment, oops! Working on this…
In short, all you should have to do is open the back of the pedal and temporarily move a jumper. This will allow you to flash a new bootloader.
Cheers for the help, I managed to get it working by opening in dfu mode and rebooting the firmware. I managed to add new patches too (was just a duplicate of the gain patch for experimentation) but now found that some of the effecxt are arent working, others barely work and some are completely silent. Any suggestion what the case is here, everything else seems on the right track, just this one last hurdle.
