Owl isn't working after entering DFU mode

Hi,

I entered in DFU Mode, but after that, the Owl isn’t working anymore. I tried with power supply amd USB, but nothing happened. I seems like it is always off! What to do now?

Does the LED flash red when you power it on? Can you still enter DFU mode?
Also, can you pls describe what you did in DFU mode - make dfu, make bootloader…?

Thanks for your fast response.

I entered in DFU mode just to see what happened, the led flashed a few times an then nothing worked anymore… i did nothing…

What can i try to exit dfu mode…!?

Sorry, no red light flashing when i try to power it on, nothing happens, even if i try to hold the LED button…

DFU mode is exited when power is switched off and on.
However if the pedal doesn’t come back to life, and you can’t put it back into DFU mode, then it sounds as if you’ve somehow lost the bootloader.
We are still working on improving documentation, but see if you can follow the instructions here to update the bootloader:

I have read the whole thing, but it’s the same as i want to read chinese, i’m really not familiar will all that technology… :)))

Where are you based? Maybe there’s a community member nearby who can help you upload a new bootloader. (It looks quite straightforward for people who’ve already compiled a version of OwlWare.)

Out of interest, where did you find out about dfu mode? Maybe it’s worth adding a comment in the right place in the documentation to ensure people don’t play with if they can’t fix any problems this may cause.

I’m from “Luxembourg, Luxembourg-city”, but also someone near France, Germany or Belgium can hp me out???

I found DFU Mode in the Owl Wiki under Update bootloader.

Or of someone have 15 minutes time for explaining me how to fix via Mail in an easy step by step, or facebook, or skype…
