OWL Pedal Bypass Footswitch

Hi to all!

I’m a new owner of OWL pedal and today i’ve tried it a little bit to know better its functions.

Anyway i don’t understand if Bypass footswitch has function like an ON/OFF Latch or not.
Every Patches i’ve used seems that it don’t turn OFF the pedal, why?

The footswitch is a latching true bypass switch, meaning that it switches out the OWL from the signal chain and connects the inputs directly to the outputs when engaged. It doesn’t turn off the pedal, and you can still operate it to change patch while in bypass mode.
When engaging bypass mode, the LED will turn off, but if you subsequently press the LED pushbutton it will come on again.

Thanks Martin for the technical clarifications.

I did not understand that for engage/disengage OWL FX we have to push Footswitch a little bit “harder” than usual guitar stomp boxes.

Yes it’s a heavy switch, 4PDT, but we need it to do stereo true bypass.
