Whenever I push the button, it immediately springs back to green, with no audible effect. This occurs with both the built-in patches and my own. It was working (switching between slots) before I upgraded the firmware using OWLNest (my pedal is quite old, but I just pulled it off the shelf this week).
By the way, I would love to have that switching-between-slots feature back…

that’s the new normal! A few firmware versions back we got rid of the dual patch slots and introduced a new patch switching method.
With the new method you can access 40 patches, four of which are user writable.
It also frees up the pushbutton so that it can be used by patches for e.g. tap tempo and mode switching.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear: I understand the change in the patch switching method. My problem is that the button doesn’t do anything inside a patch, whether my patch or a firmware default. The button snaps back to green when I let it go, and the value doesn’t change.
