Weird behaviour: LED color / PD

I am using the LED button to attempt to start or end a generator in this PD patch.

However way i approach this the LED button

  • doesn’t reliably switch sound on/off, and
  • while running the LED changes colors or switches off, although i don’t send any data from PD to it.

I can’t debug this properly.

I’ve tried it on a pedal with firmware v11 and it seems to work quite well - the pushbutton acts as a gate, turning the sound on and off as I press and release it. No LED weirdness.

Hmm. My pedal is V11, too. Strange.
Actually it could be related to certain stack overflows in my PD patch, which i only discovered a little later.
In any case it seemed the LED had a life of it’s own suddenly. Maybe that just reflected back on the Owl intestines.

Thanx for looking into this, i will investigate further.
